Former Irish-based stallion Kessaar (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}–Querulous, by Raven's Pass) has been purchased by Renew Italian Breeding and will stand at Scuderia Melissa Cipriani in Castelnuovo Berardenga, Italy this year. Standing for €5,000, the stallion will be administered by Mattia Cadrobbi and managed by Marco Bozzi and Guido Berardelli.

Izvestia, to what are you referring here? I know Dortmund died at 10 of colic in 2022, but was there something about his death that caused your 'shitty deal' remark? TIA.
Izvestia's post that Restrospectiv quoted was from 2020 when it was just announced that Dortmund was sold to South Korea.
Thanks. I didn’t remember, it’s been awhile. Why is a 2020 quote coming up? I am genuinely confused,

Cause you posted the article that said that Normandy Invasion was being pensioned, gelded and turned into a riding horse and Retrospectiv was providing an update on him. The 2020 post just also happened to have the Dortmund thing in it.

I believe he had a 100+ book for his introductory year. I think Shadai has social media but I don't know how often they post.

Arrow stud on the other hand loves posting derpy pictures of their stallions.\

Forgot how much I loved Chuck haha.

That’s good. He’s a lovely horse. I looked him up on the JC the other day and his first name suggestion (didn’t get approved) was “Crazy Horse” and I really want to know the backstory to that. Excited to see his foals!

Copy the Japanese text below and search on Twitter you'll at least get some pics and maybe some videos, most are from stallions shows.

ホットロッドチャーリー

As for the name, I'd guess that because his dam is named Indian Miss they wanted to name him Crazy Horse, after the famous Native American. Because for some reason there are people that still call them Indians.

Very interesting story, albeit a bit over the top superlatives re: advertising for Taylor Made. So who owns him now?

Yes. How do you treat a bird who has failure to ejaculate?

Not that I really wanted to learn about the subject but curiosity kills the cat and I'm always the cat. It says there are many factors that can cause Anejaculatory Syndrome most of which I wouldn't think could be fixed(or in 2 months time) including psychogenic. So the issue may have just been stress related, which is what I thought from the beginning, whether it was from overbreeding or just being near so many other stallions. Hopefully Taylor Made and his current owners, which I assume are the insurance company (unless they sold him to Taylor Made or a new syndicate), take it a little easier on Early Voting and aren't trying to breed him to 200+ mares.

I can only see this as a very positive move for early voting. Taylor made won't overbreed him. He probably won't breed 191 mares like coolmore did to him last year. And we will probably actually get to see him stick around to see his first crop of foals hit the track. Taylor made isn't likely to give up as quickly

I think this will be a good move. He will most certainly do better in a regional market and his new owners will most likely better manage his book than calumet has been able to

So this is the kakapo, the bird that "saved" Early Voting. It looks like if a parrot and an owl had a baby, which is why it is also called an owl parrot.

They can't fly and are the color of moss.
