Kopion (Omaha Beach x Galloping Ami) waltzed away with the G3 Santa Ynez at Santa Anita, although I would like to see what she can do in a field with more than four runners. ;)

CA fields are so tiny.
Big fan of her half brothers though! Mandella high on her.

Kind of shocked that they are keeping 6 y/o Fluffy Socks in training (or appear to be) but happy about it.

I think she's being pointed to the Pegasus FM Turf (G2) but they must really want her to get that G1W. She has seconditis pretty bad.

This was today @DRFHersh Idiomatic will race again in 2024, per @JuddmonteFarms. She's in light farm training and returns to trainer Brad Cox in a couple weeks. Further details posted soon @DailyRacingForm

Mel's Baby Sister broke her maiden 4th time out in the slop at Aqueduct today.
She is also trained my Melanie Giddings, who trained Maple Leaf Mel.

Kinza (Carpe Diem) wins the G3 Las Virgenes at Santa Anita, with Kopion 2nd. I know we have discussed the situation with Baffert's 3yo colts, but he also trains this 3yo filly. So, another Derby/Oaks prep where the 20 points get awarded to no one. :P

From what I read, not to worry. Because other horses from his barn have run out in the past, so would all of these. Besides it’s not Baffert horses, it’s horses from the barn of any ineligible trainer.

I'm a Linda Rice fan. Do you know what's behind the name "Linda's Gift"?
