Very shocking that Danedream’s death wasn’t a headline this Summer, she was a superstar.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen all of the Turkish stallions and covering stats in one place before. They have a lot more stallions covering a lot more mares than I thought. With those numbers and decent quality stallions, I’m surprised we don’t see their horses at more of the international meets. They’re clearly invested in improving their bloodstock, at least on the stallion side. No idea about mares

Turkish owners purchase some mares from the European sales every year but no big names afaik.

Dont think she is in foal. I spoke w someone the recent August and was told her last foal is a yearling by Name Changer

i might be mistaken but i think if she wasn't in foal (barren) i wouldn't be able to see her JC report. not sure if that'd apply to slipping though.

I know that on the BC website (which is the only thing I have access to) they will show all stallions a mare was bred to that year (for example, it shows Puca as having been bred to Olympiad and Good Magic in 2023, but she is i/f to the latter).

You are assuming that the owner took the time to put in a no foal report for her in 2024. Most don't bother, that is why there is usually a big difference between mares bred and reports received on the breeding stats the JC releases.
