King's Sword(JPN), 2019C. Sinister Minister(USA) x Kings Berry(JPN) by King Halo(JPN), won the Jpn1 JBC Classic 2000m dirt at Oi under Joao Moreira on Nov 3rd 2023.

Sinister Minister(USA)(Old Trieste x Sweet Minister) is now a great stallion for Japanese dirt racing represented by JBC Classic winners two years in a row and a Dirt Triple Crown winner this year!
And King Halo(JPN)(Dancing Brave x Goodbye Halo) is truly a wonderful broodmare sire, too!

It looks like Timeform maintained 135 in their global rankings.
(They already gave him 135 before the Tenno Sho Autumn.)

IFHA didn't raise Equinox's rating in its latest editition.
He just remained a global leader.

Jantar Mantar by Palace Malice has won the G2 Daily Hai Nisai Stakes!!! :D

I just wish they would buy Palace Malice... he gets no love in America

His family has been doing really well in Japan, half brothers Justin Palace, Iron Barrows, etc

And they already bought his best son Structor.

Yeah, Jantar Mantar was very impressive under Shadai silk!!!!
I suspect that he will be headed to the G1 Asahi Hai next.
And the son of Palace Malice should get the classic distances at 3!!!
Teruya Yoshida had an eye. ;)

Race-favorite Brede Weg(JPN), 2020F. Lord Kanaloa(JPN) x Inner Urge(JPN) by Deep Impact(JPN), scored her first group victory in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup 2200m turf at Kyoto under Christophe Lemaire on Nov 12th 2023.
She became the first three-year-old filly to win the Queen Elizabeth II Cup since Mozu Katchan in 2017 and also became the Queen Elizabeth II Cup victor with the fewest career starts of five!!

Jockey Christophe Lemaire commented after the race; “She has a great turn of foot, and even on this soft ground today, she stretched out very nicely. 2,200m was not an issue at all – looking forward to how she’ll develop from here.”

That's a big shame. :(
I was really, really looking forward to seeing him in Tokyo.
But he will remain in training next year anyway.
I hope he will win some G1s in Europe and overseas at 4, 5, 6, and 7!!!!!!

I would love to see the 5yo son of Kingman capture his second G1 title here before retiring to stud.
I also like Soul Rush, Red Mon Reve and Namur.

I have no idea about Hikaru Ayanohime.
But I would recommend you to read discussions among her many fans in the Japanese forum @netkeiba.com below using translators.
These fans love her at least.

Thank you! I just learned about her today when I saw someone post her on Twitter and I was mind blown that she was 19!
I posted this in the In Memoriam thread but she died from cardiac failure, while at pasture. She hadn't raced since April.

The race scenario for the Japan Cup becomes more unpredictable after the ''speedstar'' Panthalassa(JPN), 2023 Saudi Cup winner, has been declared for the 2400m turf race. :o :D
My pick for the time being is either the 3yo Triple Tiara winner Liberty Island(JPN) or the fast closing 4yo filly Stars on Earth(JPN), but, let's see.
Please let me set up a new thread later for this potentially the race of the year!!
I can't wait!!
