Do you think its the double up on Smart Strike? I guess what I'm really asking is do you think Curlin looks like his sire? And then do you think it could be the doubling up on the Smart Strike making Rich Strike look so much like Curlin.

I just looked at Rich Strike's pedigree...and I hadn't realized that his dam was by Smart Strike. That is a lot of Smart Strike.

I think there is some resemblance. Curlin is short legged and heavy bodied. And Keen Ice isn't exactly Smart Strike's twin. He's more compact, with more leg.
