Westover, Hukum and Adayar --- all going to Japan!?
A bit surprising that at least one of them didn't get a chance in Ireland or England.

Sadly they don't like 12f stallions, same as in the US. They would have been barely used except by National Hunt breeders.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 10:57 pm Westover, Hukum and Adayar --- all going to Japan!?

Then I hope that 5-6 years from now, their offspring kick ass at Ascot and finish 1-2-3 in the Arc.

If Workforce can win the Derby and Arc and be sold to Japan, anything can happen. And in the classic breeder mentality of “what have you done for me lately” towards stallions, Adayar hasn’t done much since the King George of 2021. Plus, yeah, the whole 12f stallions barely getting any support thing.

Westover seems a better fit in Japan. Offer they couldn’t refuse, I guess?BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 10:57 pm Westover, Hukum and Adayar --- all going to Japan!?

Cracksman. Ace Impact brought up his stock quite a bit.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 1:47 pm Does Frankel already have sons standing at stud who have better cred than Westover?

I think there are just so many other Frankels going to stud in 2024 (Adayar, Mostahdaf, Chaldean, Onesto, Hurricane Lane, Triple Time) that some of them are going to go by the wayside. Especially with how much Galileo and Danehill are already in the European mare population.

I was very excited to see her name there, and great to know she's in foal, too! It seems like she's had a challenging time getting pregnant, or staying pregnant in the past?Summer Bird wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 8:21 pmYou have to be excited about Layla being in there. I see Firing Line is no longer on Crestwood's roster. Any idea where he may be?
