“Arcangelo's historic 3-year-old campaign fits a profile that we are very familiar with on our stallion roster,” said Lane's End's Bill Farish. “There's no doubt that Arrogate's brief career at stud has had a major impact on racing and the opportunity to stand a Classic-winning son of his with such a deep pedigree makes Arcangelo an exciting and unique prospect for Lane's End.”

here's to hoping he races as a 4yo even if he wins the BCC.
Since they don't say anything about him racing at 4 I don't have much hope but I'm going to keep a little hope that he does.

But I'm happy that he is going to Lane's End over one of the farms that overbreeds their stallions.
Given how selectively he has been campaigned, the fate of his sire, and carrying pretty much the strongest hope of the UBS sireline on his back, I would be surprised, if he hits the board in the Classic, to see him race next year

Louisiana Champion Pound For Pound To Stand At Blue Star Racing In 2024

I like it when regional stars retire to stud in that region. His dam is a 2x Louisiana BOTY.

Demarchelier is at Claiborne still, I inquired on him with his TBA fee when I visited. Was told the fee is likely to go up

Classic Empire very likely going to a regional market. don't know why, but i'm feeling NY? Lookin at Lucky probably to Chile permanently. and if Early Voting didn't relocate to another major farm in KY, i kinda see him going to Japan. but it's weird he moved...?

Early Voting Removed From 2024 Covering Duties at Coolmore
https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/e ... -coolmore/

Early Voting, who was not on the roster of stud fees when Coolmore America announced their 2024 lineup Tuesday, has been “removed from covering duties at Ashford Stud for the 2024 breeding season due to an inability to breed, according to veterinary experts,” Coolmore said Wednesday.

The farm said that the stallion, a son of Gun Runner, was subject to an ongoing insurance claim.

We've been talking about it in the 2024 fees thread. Apparently he stopped finishing after he got over 150 mares and still refuses to finish.

Thank you for this. That is really sad. I was reading an old CTBA magazine, and there was an advertisement for Siyah Kalem covering a "full book" of 50-something mares for the season. Times sure have changed. Making a stallion cover a massive amount of mares is only detrimental to the bank account of the farm.

Postponed is on the move from Darley Dalham Hall to Yorton Stud. He will now cover National Hunt mares. Darley is already overflowing with Dubawi sons, and his preferred racing distance of 12f seemed to make him the least popular

Sorry this is going to be in no particular order at all. I saw some tweets from one person and he listed a few UK/Irish report of mares bred:

Stradivarius - 120 mares (including 10 black type winners) https://twitter.com/brookesbldstck/stat ... 2000730272

Time Test - 69 (compared to 181 last year) https://twitter.com/brookesbldstck/stat ... 9595072871 someone else asked him about the following 2.
Land Force - 130
Ardad - 154

Baaeed - 162 (including 67 black type winners) https://twitter.com/brookesbldstck/stat ... 5211955419

Dubawi - 137 https://theownerbreeder.com/columns/hot ... -new-boys/ <-- this is also a good article about the young Darley stallions Blue Point and Too Darn Hot.

I know I should've expected such a result, but I had hopes he'd be acquired to stand as a flat stallion. Really loved Pyledriver

to me it was kinda obvious judging by his last performance. Spendthrift wouldn't want to risk another bad run.

i haven't seen any articles confirming it though?
