Sharp Azteca(USA) will be not only the first Freud son to stand at stud in Japan but also the first Freud baby to arrive in Japan.
He will stand at JBBA.

Tachyon already answered you but I wanted to add that there aren't many Freud's at stud. The only other two I could find are Must Go On(ARG) in Argentina and Alex Rossi(ARG) in California. Neither of these was listed on Bloodhorse's Stallion Register so its possible there are some more that just aren't advertised. But because he is a regional sire, that means that a lot of his sons were gelded. And his other G1 winning intact son, Giant Ryan, brokedown and was euthanized in 2012.

considering his pedigree i was a lil bummed Freud wasn't a bit more nationally successful. i hope sharp azteca does well for his new connections.

Like Oju Chosan, Naran Huleg was bred by a small farm in Hokkaido. He was not a ''Shadai Group'' horse.
The son of Gold Allure gave a first G1 victory to his owner, his trainer and his jockey by taking out the 2022 Takamatsunomiya Kinen.

And, now, it does look like all of his fans are thrilled with his owner's decision to retire him to Versailles Resort Farm which is becoming an unique and popular place.

Just as an oddity, a 2yoc by Ride on Curlin named Sonoran, who finished a good second to his stablemate, the very fancied Faustin, at Santa Anita yesterday was a relatively eye-popping $230,000 OBS spring purchase this year--owned by Jill Baffert, trained by Bob. (Who also trains Faustin.) The colt must have had a spectacular breeze, a great physical, or both!
