Caramel Swirl won the G3 Vagrancy Stakes easy as she pleased on Sunday. She came from the back of the pack to win by a couple of lengths. By Union Rags o/o Caramel Snap, her dam is a half-sister to Frosted and Indulgent, and her second dam is half to Midshipman!

Caramel Swirl wins the G2 Gallant Bloom today, via a double DQ. It sounds like she could possibly train up to the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint.

Quoting to add, Caramel Swirl apparently has a yearling full brother that’s been exported to Japan.

Anyone know how Union Rags does as a sire in Japan? I don’t think he’s had many runners there, but I also wouldn’t know how to check!

Three Rivers, 3yo f (American Pharoah - Flying Spur, by Giant's Causeway) took her record to 2 wins in 2 starts when winning an Allowance at Saratoga on August 16th. Flying Spur ran 3rd in the 2009 Kentucky Oaks(G1) and is a daughter of MG1SW Lakeway(dam of SW Sluice who is the dam of G1 Mushka). Owner breeder Mike Rutherford bought Lakeway's dam, Milliardaire(a full sister to G1 Saratoga Six), as a yearling at the 1985 Fasig Tipton Saratoga sale for $2.7m.

I really liked Lakeway, she was a top notch filly. She wasn't quite as good when she came back from her injury at age 4 but she was still consistent, her only off the board finish coming in her last start when she finished 4th. I hope Three Rivers has a bright future.

Entered on October 4th in Race 4 at Belmont At The Big A(why don't they just say Aqueduct???) an Allowance 3/u at 7f.

Also in the race is Into Happiness, 4yo f (into Mischief - Acting Happy, by Empire Maker). Her dam is G2SW/MG1p Acting Happy who is a daughter of MG1 I Ain't Bluffing.

She finished 5th of 5. Stonestreet's other filly won. Emery, 2yo f (More Than Ready - Athena, by Street Sense) Dam is MSW. Family of G1 Peeping Tom, Traitor, Beach Patrol, G2 Sun King, etc. Emery is registered as dkb/br but she's almost black.

Very very impressive wish I was at the track! So many good horses running today. Honestly it's gotta be scary breaking out of the gate on a horse that fast! Then again if you ride for Wesley then you probably are prepared for the fast breaks

Won it in really impressive style too. Aidan O’Brien says he is the best two year old he’s ever trained, but he says that every other year. One comment him and Ryan Moore have said multiple times about the colt is that he “doesnt get tired”. Whether in his works or on the track, he just doesnt want to stop.
