It’s a swayed back, which is usually genetic. I’m sure it didn’t help him on the track, but he is listed as sound so it probably isn’t what ended his career. Guessing he was just a slow boy.

If you get a foam or gel halfpad to go under the saddle to keep it level, you can ride swayed backs no problem. He probably wont be able to be ridden when he’s a senior but it isn’t really a dealbreaker if someone wants him as a pleasure horse or low level jumper.
