I can only imagine the high expectations he has as a future sire. I'm surprised Coolmore hasn't wrapped him in bubble wrap already.

Frankie Dettori is putting his mansion up for rent at 15,000 pounds a month and is going to auction around 120 of his trophies .
Last time i went to Newmarket i heard a rumour he was going to the states to live.

I'm not surprised to hear that Frankie may be moving to the US. When you think about what a champion jockey might do next, you usually think trainer. But Dettori is personable and well-spoken. Being an on-air racing analyst would suit him...and I suspect that Fandrool had some talks with him when he was in California. Also, isn't Frankie single? Because if you saw that piece Fandrool did of "Frankie Does Hollywood" with the very pretty Britney Eurton, there was some flirting going on.
ETA: Did some research and Frankie IS married, with five children. Maybe the flirting was just Dettori being Italian.

I know this is totally off topic, but i was watching a quiz programme the other day and one of the questions was what do Americans call a cup of coffee.
The answer was Joe, is this a term in certain states or all across America ?
To be honest ive never heard anyone asked for a cup of Joe when i went to America lol

I can't say I've heard anyone call it that in person, but "cup of Joe" is a slang term for coffee here. I don't know the origin. There's a lot of traditional American slang/phrases that are actually regional so not everyone says it.20hayes20 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 8:15 am I know this is totally off topic, but i was watching a quiz programme the other day and one of the questions was what do Americans call a cup of coffee.

For example, Southerners supposedly call every soft drink "Coke," but I've never experienced this. We just call the specific soda by its name OR call them soft drinks as a collevtive.
