love that Bloodhorse has a video feature today of Zen and her filly - such a cute filly - loves people already, just like her mama - so happy to see Zen so content with her baby - and to see the very long legged filly running around - she seems to be a happy, bouncy girl and also one who enjoys her naps - plus it sounds like they are going to allow Zen to have more visitors in the future - that is a wonderful thing for Zenyatta and her fans - Zenny will enjoy the extra love and her fans will be thrilled to see this most beloved mare in person!

The name chosen for Zenyatta's foal is Nemui.

You beat me to it. According to Google, Nemui means sleepy/drowsy, but I hope our japanese expert Tachyon will show up to confirm that.

According to a tweet from Anne Eberhardt Keogh, Neumi means “innovator of new beginnings”.

I’ve always heard it pronounced Nee-moo-ay to rhyme with way.

I thought it was pronounced Nim-away, Nim like Tim. I saw a Merlin mini-series with Sam Neill and a bunch of really good actors at some point. Nimue was a big part of the story and I just thought it was pronounced the same.

Looked it up on Google, and the audio pronunciation was Nim-yu.
