I'll probably record the break-of-dawn races, but Royal Ascot just won't be the same for me without The Queen.

Lofty company for sure. She was impressive and deserves all the praise. Disappointed in Running Lion's effort though.

I was disappointed to see that Wesley Ward is again using Irad Ortiz on his Royal Ascot runners. After last year's Iradebacle, I really wish Ward had chosen to use a rider more familiar with Ascot and its protocols instead.

"They?" Who wants "excuses" to the point of sabotaging the Ward runners?

He is using Joel Rosario on some of them, like American Rascal. Joel has won before on Shang Shang Shang in 2018 and No Nay Never in 2013.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 2:31 pm I was disappointed to see that Wesley Ward is again using Irad Ortiz on his Royal Ascot runners. He got food poisoning and Johnny V. is replacing him on the 2 horses today (Fandom just ran and didn't do great).
