I'll probably record the break-of-dawn races, but Royal Ascot just won't be the same for me without The Queen.

Lofty company for sure. She was impressive and deserves all the praise. Disappointed in Running Lion's effort though.

In Running Lion’s defense, she had a terrible post position. Blue Rose Cen had a great post position and a pacemaker who was good enough to hold on for fourth. But it is nice to see Churchill get such a good filly as he is one of my favorites.

I was disappointed to see that Wesley Ward is again using Irad Ortiz on his Royal Ascot runners. After last year's Iradebacle, I really wish Ward had chosen to use a rider more familiar with Ascot and its protocols instead.

They just want excuses for his runners

"They?" Who wants "excuses" to the point of sabotaging the Ward runners?

He is using Joel Rosario on some of them, like American Rascal. Joel has won before on Shang Shang Shang in 2018 and No Nay Never in 2013.

I had a decent bet on Inspiral and the wife had a tenner on Triple Time 33/1 lol

Hoping River Tiber can win the Coventry Stakes

He got food poisoning and Johnny V. is replacing him on the 2 horses today (Fandom just ran and didn't do great). Twilight Gleaming runs later today.
