I am so pleased to see Drefong being well-supported by Japanese breeders. He brings the Storm Cat cross that has done well with the Halo line in Japan, plus speed for the mares with more staying ability.
His sire Gio Ponti was an excellent racehorse, able to perform on multiple surfaces, and I wish he were more popular here.

She must have crappy feet if she’s wearing those glue on shoes.

I saw the hoof on her dark leg looked weird but had no clue what was going on. It looked like she stepped in mud. Makes sense it was a glue on shoe. I'm no hoof expert but couldn't she just had injured it and then it caused an abscess or something? Could be bad feet too. I'm not discounting what you are saying. I've watched probably too much Hoof GP (which is cattle) on youtube and hooves seem to be injured by air.

I should have explained more. I think she has crappy feet because those are the same shoes we use on mares with crappy feet on the farm. It also looks like she has a shoe on her other foot but it’s hard to see due to that hoof being light colored instead of dark like the other.

[BC winning stallion] x [BC winning broodmare] is the dream mating for those Japanese fans who follow the North-American racing.

I don't know yet who Marche Lorraine will be bred to this year.
She must have a lot of options including:

-- US-bred stallions : Bricks and Mortar, Mind Your Biscuits
-- Sunday Silence-line stallions : Kitasan Black, Contrail, Kizuna
-- King Kamehameha-line stallions : Saturnalia, Lord Kanaloa, Rey de Oro
-- Roberto-line stallions : Epiphaneia, Maurice, Efforia

This is not for this year, but, I really want to see Marche Lorraine visit Equinox when he retires to stud, as her foal will have both inbreeding of Sunday Silence (4x4) and Dancing Brave (4x4) !!!!
