Push-button acceleration, right? To think she hadn’t run since October.

I do like Savethelastdance, but I think the ground today will go against her. I’m going with Soul Sister as well. It would be awesome to see Running Lion win, though.

Very cool. Looking at her pedigree cause that is what I like to do. I saw her grand dam's name, Truly A Dream, and my brain was like, she ran in the Breeders Cup. I didn't remember what year though had to look, she finished 5th in 1994 Distaff because there wasn't a F/M Turf back then. She ran okay for a horse that never had raced on dirt before considering how far behind she was.

Who do you fancy in the Derby? Lots of qualified runners but I think Auguste Rodin will love the mile and a half and I hope his last was too bad to be true.

If we've learned anything in the last couple years, it's that English starting gate teams operate on a one strike and you're out policy when it comes to horses misbehaving in the starting gate. Hopefully Running Lion gets redemption in the Diane.

Also... not sure if it is a fun or depressing fact, but the last 10 Oaks have all been won by either Aidan O'Brien or John Gosden (+ Thady Gosden this year)

Military Order and The Foxes for me today.

Plus in the Dash Handicap (15.20 BST), I’ve gone for Alligator Alley and The Thin Blue Line.

I have a soft spot for Niarchos horses, so I’d like to see Passenger run well. Also would love to see Sprewell make the frame, as his trainer, legendary Jessica Harrington, is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Would be a great and much needed feel good story.

Honestly it is such an open race, I wouldnt be surprised if either of the above mention or Military Order, Arrest, The Foxes, or Auguste Rodin won.

So glad to see Auguste Rodin return to winning form. The pedigree bore out and he loved the mile and a half.

Fab card at Chantilly today 7 group races and 2 listed races.

The French Derby takes centre stage and Big Rock is a worthy favourite

The 2 for me for value are Marhaba Ya Sanafi at 10/1 and winner of the French 2000 gns and American Flag at 12/1

Should be a cracking race.

the Prix La Fleche a listed race for 2 year olds over 5 fur.

3 British Raiders taking part in this Dorothy Lawrence for Karl Burke Ziggys Phoenix for Richard Hannon and Heed The Call trained by Archie Watson

I will be a little surprised if the brits dont win this race
