I think Effie Trinket scratched and will run in the John Hettinger Stakes on Sunday...

Hoping Discreet Marq can pull this one off... though I think 9F might be her limit right now. This is a tougher group than she beat in the DMR Oaks last out, but she has a good record at this course, and some of her top competition are either coming off layoffs (Alterite and Emollient), or are unproven at this level and/or will need pace to run at. If she doesn't go too fast early I think she wins this. Of the closers Watsdachances and Summer of Fun are probably the best options. Interested to see what the French fully, Alterite, does in her first start for Brown.

Discreet Marq looks like a monster. Big, gorgeous filly who doesn't seem to stop.
I just don't think I'd get 7/2 on her. She is one of those horses you bet at 7/2 the race
starts, and then her odds drop to 3/5 and she runs out of gas. lol.
I think the French filly will take some money. If you have an edge in this race
it should pay pretty well
No one has ever bet enough on a winning horse.

Hoping Emollient asserts herself here. It will be tough, very nice field.

Summer of Fun & Praia
I don't think the horses can read the toteboard.
