It appears his page has been deleted so I would assume he has been moved, to where, who knows, they haven't announced. 2021 breeding to 2022 foaling season, he only had 18 foals from 50 mares. Maybe its fertility related. Also I need to say I hate Castleton Lyons page, who puts random music on their site in 2023.... I didn't have headphones on, all I could hear was something faint every now and then, its 2am and I was like where is that noise coming from??? Its real weird to be moving stallions now when technically the breeding season should be until beginning of July.Nenikikamen23 wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 12:38 am Does anyone know if Protonico has moved? I no longer see him on Castleton Lyon's website. He's still listed there according to the stallion register, but I know those can be slow to update.

Where did you see this? Cause on Mapleton's site they say we have invested in stallions: Dominus who stands at Duncan Farm in Ohio and Creative Cause who stands at Airdrie in Kentucky. Wouldn't surprise me if he moved though cause he was not popular last year with breeders. Its just weird to me that 2 sons of Giant's Causeway would move before the breeding season was over.

At the time I saw him on the Mapleton (now HMD?) site, I couldn't find him on the Airdrie site. If he's back on there right now then IDK.Flanders wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 2:17 amWhere did you see this? The Player got his first winner. His first crop is current 3yos, he only has 6 foals in his first crop.

Really happy to see him get a winner. Hopefully many more to come.

In the 7th at Los Alamitos, a 300 yd Maiden for 3yo fillies, Trix Up My Sleeve is by FAVORITE TRICK.
I know that the late Favorite Trick was loved by QH breeders, and that he had a fair amount of semen frozen, but....I didn't think there would be any left after 17 years.
I am rooting for this filly, hope she's great.
ETA: She won by a half length, which is comfortable in QH racing. She is a tall, dark gal, and IIRC looks like her sire.

He was such a kind and beautiful boy. My husband and I visited him a few times over the years. He loved putting on a show and was a very sweet guy. He was stunning in person, his pictures never did him justice. Good bye beautiful Pegasus.

Fusaichi pegasus death has made Fox news. They made a fb post about his death. When was the last time a main stream media site like Fox made a post about a stallion dying? Even a Kentucky derby winner like FuPeg? I can't remember once.. usually that news is limited to the racing media..there were over a 1k comments and 80% of the people were clueless.. talked about how cruel it was that he lost his life to racing.. clearly people didn't realize 26 is a great life for a horse and he hadn't set hoof on a track in yearsPrivate Thoughts wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 7:28 pmHe was such a kind and beautiful boy. He has an export pending so I guess that's it for him in the US. Maybe an article will come out once he is out of the country.Nenikikamen23 wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 12:38 am Does anyone know if Protonico has moved? I no longer see him on Castleton Lyon's website. I think Sumaya still owns him, so maybe he is headed to Haras Sumaya in Chile?Flanders wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 4:59 pmHe has an export pending so I guess that's it for him in the US.
