Believe it or not I used to be pretty heavily into Pokemon (the game, not so much cards or anime) but I've not played it for so long I have forgotten so much.

Therefore I was a big fan of a horse named Our Rapidash. I hope he is an OTTB somewhere.

Well, yes and no. I started following racing around 2014, so Squirtle Squirt predates me in that regard. In fact. he was born a year before me. I definitely have a retroactive appreciation, though!

I like his pedigree. :D
That's the first time Agnes Gold sired the winner in this prestigious grade 1.

And it's his first in Argentina since Ivar(BRZ) in 2019.

WOO-HOO!!!!! :D 8-) :D

I'm so happy for her and her connections.
Phil D'Amato is a great trainer!
Brazilian Tiago Pereira gave her a perfect ride!
R Unicorn Stable is owned by Japanese Ryuzo Kaimoto.
Hat Trick(JPN)(Sunday Silence) daughter Macadamia(BRZ) is still improving.
I would love to see her run in the BC F&M Turf later this year, if this race is to be run over 10F at Santa Anita.
She might handle the distance.

What a send off for Deep Impact as a stallion. Only what, 7 foals, in his last crop? And he gets a Derby winner.

Indeed!
Deep Impact(JPN) is believed to have had only 12 foals in his last crop in 2020 -- six foals in Japan and six foals in Europe -- after he covered 24 mares in 2019.
