I think it's probably some sort of screw-up with the conversion rate somewhere. The horse won a minor stakes in Qatar, the last I could find. But not much anywhere else.
The mare had only finished 3rd this year and her earnings for the year should be $1,350 not 13.5m.
i see where the comfusion came from  been there, done that. though the consequence for me was, um, 5 straight F's in math in high school ;)
hahaha. Math was one of my better classes. Now science(except biology), I just didn't care, it bored me so much and I had zero interest that it was definitely my worst subject by far. I like erased Chemistry class from my brain, that was like torture for me.

i couldn't do anything with numbers, but especially physics because my teacher was a level 10 asshole. i was regularly the best of my class in history though and always the best in english (which isn't my first language lol, my record in portuguese isn't one to be proud of  )

I'm really impressed. They fixed it immediately on Monday, I forgot to check yesterday. And they thanked me for reporting the error. Thumbs up to Equineline.

That's really cool. I remember him running; he was a very good sprinter and I enjoyed watching him become a successful stallion.

Shalaa was based at Haras de Bouquetot and shuttled to Arrowfield until 2022, when he took up full time residence at Arrowfield. He has now been sold to Woodside Park Stud in Victoria, Australia. He had been doing better in the Southern Hemisphere than in the North, and Invincible Spirit sons are in huge demand down there, thanks to the success of I Am Invincible.

Conquest Smartee (Smart Strike - Forty Gran) has been retired to Tommy Town Thoroughbreds.

He is a full brother to successful California sire Square Eddie, a 4x winner, raced through age 6, and is stakes placed.

I am still waiting on Tough Sunday to show up on Tommy Town's website.

Yeah sometime in 2021, when I was trying to find him, I found he had a death report. There was never anything said anywhere. I posted it here though when I saw it.
brunanas wrote: Sat Dec 17, 2022 6:22 pm i wonder if they will ever close their stallion operation. it's a shame Calumet is not even a shadow of what it once was...
I mean it hasn't been since Lundy took over in the early 80s and ran it into the ground. Henryk de Kwiatkowski never stood many stallions, I think 2 was the most he had while he owned Calumet. Of course he bought the farm long after his stallion Danzig had been established at Claiborne so he didn't move him.
Found out heart attack took him

He is a G1 winner in Hong Kong and a G3W in Australia, and has a solid female family. He raced from 2 through 5.

BALLAGH ROCKS (Stormy Atlantic - Bells Are Ringing, by Sadler's Wells) has entered stud at Seliana Stables in New York. Fee is $2,500K.

He is a G3W, multiple G1P, and a stakes performer from age 4 to 7. His dam is 1/2 to Unbridled's Song.

35 Starts: 9 - 5 - 5, $818,162

Seliana Stables boards a wide variety of breeds (per Facebook) so I wonder if he will be open to non-TB mares.
