Good day for Violence with 2 GSW with Forte and Raise Cain. I wonder if his fee goes up next year from 50k.

Girvin had graded stakes-winning fillies on opposite coasts between Faiza and Dorth Vader. Really like him as a stallion.

The first mare scanned in foal for Arc winner Torquator Tasso is the unraced Soleila (by Maxios). She is a half sister to German Derby runner up Schwarzer Peter, who was sold at Arqana last year for 1 million Euro. Tasso has ca. 100 mares on his list in his first season.

Any Given Saturday returned from South Korea to live out as a pensioner at Old Friends. i believe he had been pensioned already, as he didn't cover any mares in 2021 and 2022 (and he only had 5 live foals from 72 mares bred in 2020).

Any Given Saturday is from that magnificent 2004 crop of horses: Street Sense, Curlin, Rags To Riches, Hard Spun, Nobiz Like Shobiz, and, of course, Zenyatta.
That year gave us not only great racing, but several excellent sires.

He could run. I enjoyed following him over the years and I hope he is very successful as a stallion in Argentina.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say his owner is hated, and may also be having severe financial problems due to international sanctions. The list of people who want revenge on Kadyrov, or who want their money, is probably quite long.
Poor horse. :(

more details:
Czech Radio reported that there was an attempt to remove the two horses - Zazou and a second thoroughbred named after Russian composer Mikhail Glinka - in January last year, weeks before Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Two Russian-speaking men arrived at the stud farm claiming they were under instruction to take the horses to Poland, arguing that sanctioned animals could be moved across borders as long as they did not leave the EU.

The stud farm's owner was unmoved and locked the stables to prevent the horses being taken. He says the pair spent five days sitting in a van parked outside the gates, before finally leaving with a horsebox bearing Mr Kadyrov's personal livery.

I hope he’s at least found even if he’s not alive. If he’s found they’d at least know what happened to him

The horse has no value to anyone beside his owner. If he didn't have men take him during the night, then the horse is in trouble. Either way, I doubt we will hear about him again.
Its not like an enemy could steal the horse and sell him as a TB stallion. His future foals would be ineligible to be registered, like how Dubai Excellence's foals were made ineligible when he got switched with Samood. Then the owner wouldn't give him back so the right stallions could be given to the right owners.
