Sistercharlie finally produced her first foal, a Dubawi filly a couple of days ago.

Just curious. How did Sistercharlie end up foaling at Coolmore Ireland? Dubawi stands at Dalham Hall in England for Darley. Did Peter Brandt, by any chance, sell her to Coolmore and I just missed it? The last auction note in the comments in PQ (for what that's worth) is the yearling sale at Arqana Deauville in 2015 where Brandt purchased her.

I'm just confused by this a little bit. Please forgive my ignorance about how things like this work. I appreciate the help!

Does anyone here know who this mare is?

Kind of strange, I went through the mares exported from Japan in 2022/2023 to see if any were bred to Saturnalia and none were unless I missed clicking on one to check and I went through twice to make sure. Google translate has a hard time with Japanese, to me the tweet translates to "It's a month late from the scheduled date, but it's just the right size." Is the real Japanese translation that the foal was born early?

I almost wonder if he got stallion wrong and its Air Twice(1/2 sister to Yuugiri). Since she was imported to the US, is owned by Sekie and Tsunebumi Yoshihara who have ties to Naoya Yoshida's Winchester Farm. Air Twice was in foal to Leontes (so 1/2 brother to Saturnalia). She wasn't due to have her foal until the end of March and she is a bay according to the Jockey Club.

Apparently Naoya Yoshida's tweet was translated correctly by google.
I can confirm that he said in Japanese that the foal was born a month late from the due date.
But, once again, I wonder if he could get it wrong.....
