Article on flat stallions who in 2022 covered 60+ mares in Ireland and the UK. Its kind of weird because it goes 125+ mares, 60-99, 100-124, then new stallions who covered 80+. But its nice to get to see more than just the top 10.

i was going to say Morello because i thought this looked like a Batman mask (and he won the Gotham, lol) but it doesn't really and he also just raced in an AOC a few days ago. they also said "you'll want to get your mares booked asap" and i'm not sure people would flock to get their mares into Morello's book. so... no idea?

They’ll be officially announcing him tomorrow but I’m racking my brain to think of a horse. Maybe an Into mischief? Any stallions with superhero names? Or maybe criminal names?brunanas wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 7:06 pmi was going to say Morello because i thought this looked like a Batman mask (and he won the Gotham, lol) but it doesn't really and he also just raced in an AOC a few days ago. they also said "you'll want to get your mares booked asap" and i'm not sure people would flock to get their mares into Morello's book. so... no idea?

i have no idea, scratching my brain rn. something i noticed is that all the interactions with their tweet came from spanish-speaking accounts, so perhaps an import? could be just a coincidence, but 2 (of the 3) are journalists.SukiSatsuki wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 7:08 pmThey’ll be officially announcing him tomorrow but I’m racking my brain to think of a horse. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow. Would he be the first Into mischief in florida? Is that why it’s all mysterious?

I have no idea what their breeding practices are (like book sizes) but Pleasant Acres is starting to feel like the WInStar or Spendthrift of Florida in terms of roster size.
No, Rogueish has been there a couple years. No foals racing yet.SukiSatsuki wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 9:07 pm I guess we’ll find out tomorrow. Would he be the first Into mischief in florida? Is that why it’s all mysterious?

Rogueish has terrible fertility according to the JC breeding stats for the past 2 years. A GSWing Into Mischief is definitely a step up.
Maybe the market in Kentucky is just over saturated with Into Mischief's? There are 10 there already plus at least one grandson.

tbh i think that it will be a few years until the KY market is oversaturaded with Into Mischief sons/grandsons. to me it still seems that breeders are stuck on the "the more the better mindset" and their numbers show that.Flanders wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 9:15 pm Rogueish has terrible fertility according to the JC breeding stats for the past 2 years. Couldn’t be Mshawish. Has there been a farm this mysterious with their debuting studs before?
