A champion pacing filly with the very Standardbred name of Warrawee Ubeaut (Sweet Lou - Great Memories) had her first foal last night, a colt by Tall Dark Stranger.

Ubeaut is a bright bay with blaze and socks courtesy of her sire but it looks like her son is taking more after Tall Dark Stranger. Which wouldn't be at all bad thing, dad's quite handsome.

Uhhh how do you pronounce Warrawee Ubeaut and what does it mean?

I hope so see some standardbred babies with very pronounced roman noses this year. They're my favorite for sure.

Ubeaut = you beauty (there are a lot of Aussie drivers/trainers in the Standardbred world so I bet that's where it came from)

Winbak, Hanover and Blue Chip all let fans name their foals. I don't think Warrawee does so you end up with names like...that.

G1W Paris Lights had a filly by Into Mischief.

Spendthrift Farm posted a brief video, but no photo yet. It looks like she has at least one big white stocking and a white blaze.

Essential Quality-Gaelic Gold colt. Finally the farm got a gray foal out of two gray parents instead of it always being bay
