She was a lackluster 10th of 11. She win the Holiday Inaugural S. at Turfway last out, so who knows what was going on today.

3yo c Measured Time, a Frankel half-brother to BC Turf winner Rebel’s Romance, won on debut at Kempton.

6yo g Gauntlet , a Galileo half-brother to Danedream, also broke his maiden at Kempton.

Wow...how disappointed/pessimistic do you have to be to geld a horse with that pedigree? :shock:

I think when he crossed the 5 year old threshold without breaking his maiden they probably knew that he wasn’t going to be a very attractive stallion prospect.

he was gelded as a 3yo after 2 starts according to his racing post page, after a 4th and 3rd place finishes
i like plushies. a lot.

If they knew he was slow early on they should've retired him unraced and claimed some mystery injury kept him off the track. Breeders looove stallions like that.

He has a full brother that was a G3SW/G1p and he couldn't get a stud deal as far as I can find. He was running in Australia, sold for 17k AUD in a digital sale, raced a few times in 2021 and that is it.

Poor horse looks so depressed and seems to have left point of the hock swelling.
