He looks wonderful. IMO stallions benefit from regular riding. Not all retired studs care for it (Point Given comes to mind), but the sort of collected work Caravaggio is learning keeps their bodies AND minds exercised. The work should also strengthen his back and hindquarters, all beneficial for a breeding stallion.

I like that twitter account
More stallions under saddle:
Animal Kingdom going very well, loose rein and listening ears https://twitter.com/yusas/status/1610871439233777664
Mischievious Alex is the kick-along quiet pony https://twitter.com/yusas/status/1609665786217631745
Noble Mission looking noble indeed with his studly crest https://twitter.com/yusas/status/1609664810286977025
Have seen several videos of Creator under saddle over the years and he always impresses me, he's a great mover https://twitter.com/yusas/status/1609664502794186752 and canter https://twitter.com/yusas/status/1592121717282963456
Makfi not a fan of this whole collection idea https://twitter.com/yusas/status/1609664303212417024
Declaration of War is ready for the hack classes https://twitter.com/yusas/status/1605471068185300994

Thank you for those links. It's wonderful watching those handsome stallions exercise like that. Animal Kingdom, Creator and Declaration of War look like they could move into a new career, if the whole stud business doesn't work out for them. (Kidding!)

Mischievous Alex has a gorgeous tail! It's not particularly long, hanging to just below his hocks. But he carries it with just a slight "swish" and it has an almost silky look to it.

Really pretty, I think!😍

Imagine being a *~*novice rider*~* and getting to ride Animal Kingdom. AK could not look more relaxed, what a dude.

Noble Mission (and all of his chunkiness) makes him look like the perfect Junior Hunter. Though as much as I love his curves, he definitely needs the exercise.

Ugh. I wish it wasn't such a fun novelty to ride stallions, and to occasionally share footage of said riding.

The Shizunai boys also go on relaxed hacks around the farm when the weather's nicer. Such fire-breathing monsters, these stallions :P

I love how Declaration of War's rider has his feet kicked out of the stirrups.
What a good life those stallions must be living, to be so relaxed and balanced like that. 8-)

As a side note, Katsumi Yoshida (Northern Farm) purchased Lucky Dime(USA), 1/2 sister to Hot Rod Charlie & Mitole, at 2021 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.

I was hoping he'd run again this year. But I'm so excited to see what his career as a sire has to offer! Hoping for some of his babies to make it to the US.

Sad to see him go but he’ll be treated like royalty! Glad I at least got to see him in the Belmont

I thought Gainesway bought into his racing/breeding rights? Interesting!

If I owned a G2/G3 older horse in training right now, I’d be very excited for 2023.

Kudos to Shadai for continuing to swing big on the *~*unfashionable*~* stallions they import.

I was hopeful that being a 1/2 brother to Mitole might "save" him (I know going to Japan isn't a death sentence, it's just a figure of speech).

this should teach me not to get too excited abt stallions for the US breeding program, but i say that every time another country snaps up stallions i'm looking forward to being part of the US stud roster.

but yeah, kudos to them for taking chances on stallions that the US doesn't appreciate enough. it pays off often enough for them, too.
