Duramente(JPN)(King Kamehameha), who had died last year, has sired another cracking G1 winner!! :D
That was a HUGE loss for the Japanese racing. :(

This showed up in my Youtube recommended. Some famous horses, some SW, some unknowns. Tanino Gimlet(sire of Vodka), Rose Kingdom(Japan Cup G1 winner), and Admire Japan are on it at some point.

I couldn't figure out who the horse is at 14:36 (the video says Anniversary but I'm wondering if they just reused a blanket cause I can not find a grey Anniversary). I was trying to look up the horses as the video went. I clicked on every Anniversary that was on the JBIS site and none were greys.

I would love for your help, but when it gets closer to launch. I'd forget how between now and then. By the way, Tachyon, I was looking at recent racehorse registration cancellations and noticed Air Spinel and Sunrise Nova listed. Do you know if they are off to stud, to be riding horses, or...... Also, any recent updates on Pixie Knight? Any and all info is appreciated.

I am game for that for sure. I will remind myself to ask you on March 1st.

BTW, you or anyone else........Why don't we send more horses over for the Japan Cup? Pays about $5.5 million and the inventives seems very encouraging:

For invited overseas horses for the Japan Cup, the JRA will provide the following:
1. Air transportation between Japan and the point of embarkation / disembarkation for the horse and two attendants (economy class).
2. Return business class air tickets for Owner, Trainer, Jockey, and their spouse / partner (Not transferable).
3. Five nights accommodation (one room) for Owner, Trainer, and Jockey at JRA Official Hotel.

(I loved the spouse/partner choice, that was thoughtful for those in that situation). Are there any photos of the JRA offical hotel, outside and interior? Would love to see those.

What incentives do we provide for their horses coming over here? I haven't updated my knowledge on that.

For International Breeders Cup Win and You're In race winners, they are given 40k to cover travel expenses.

I will be rooting for Tinia, whose dam, Follow a Dream (Giant's Causeway x Dream of Summer) is a full to Creative Cause, Destin and Vexatious. That's a potent bloodline.

I thought that the first three colts today were very good!!
Can't wait to see them in the Classic races next year.
And it's amazing that King Kamehameha(JPN), as a sire or a sire-of-sires, continues to dominate G1 races in Japan lately. 8-)
Both the filly Liberty Island(JPN) and the colt Dolce More(JPN) are likely to be named the JRA Juvenile champions this year.

Dolce More(JPN), 2020C. Rulership(JPN) x Ayusan(JPN) by Deep Impact(JPN), won the G1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes 1600m turf at Hanshin under Ryusei Sakai on Dec 18th 2022 to remain unbeaten 3 for 3!!
His dam Ayusan(JPN) was the Oka Sho winner in 2013.
