I wonder if Mosses would consider breeding Zenyatta to Flightline since both at Lanes End.

I don't know. The Tapit that she did have didn't work out so well for her. Neither did the Bernardini, for that matter. They probably wouldn't be too interested in going back to the INDY line. Especially since her remaining reproducing years are limited, to say the least. If she is bred next year, she would be 20 years old when that foal is born.

I mean, has any stallion worked out for her? At least the Bernardini and the Tapit were able to make it to the track. I know the War Fronts were lost due to circumstance but the Medaglia D'Oro and Candy Ride have yet to inspire much confidence in sire lines nicking.

23yo Grisham (Grindstone - Sham Street, by Sham) is on an auction lot in Lebanon, PA. She has been owned by New Farm for more than 20 years. Her foals have earned over $1.2M and she produced a foal this year by Rainbow Heir. When contacted, New Farm owner Ebby Novak said he didn’t want her back as she was “useless” to him. I hope this old girl finds a soft landing.

Ebby Novak is useless to the industry. Even one of his employees tried to save her and was told no.

I know you need to put food on the table, especially if you have kids, but if it were just me, I'd go hungry before I'd work for a man like that!!

The mare is safe thanks to Kyle Roth & might be entered in the RRP for mares if she’s up to it. If not she will live at Mareworthy. 😁😁

The great Ouija Board has passed away at age 21. Dual classic winner, dual Breeder’s Cup winner, she also produced Derby winner and top sire Australia

R.I.P Ouija Board. :(

She was truly a global star.
G1 winner in four countries came to Tokyo to contest the Japan Cup twice, too.

She was a favorite of mine. I'm glad they publicly announced her passing so she could be properly remembered as the great horse that she was.
