TWO Hard Spun babies won over jumps this past weekend. Booby Trap won the amateur/apprentice rider hurdle at Pine Mtn/Callaway Gardens. Arrowheart won a maiden claiming hurdle at Montpelier, with another Hard Spun, Refi finishing 3rd in that race. Shootin the Breeze pulled up midway through the Steeplethon (n2x allowance) at Callaway, walked off the course.

The other Hard Spun in the race, Hard Timer, pulled up, while Hard Game was pulled up in the maiden claiming hurdle a few races prior. For those keeping count there are no fewer than 8 Hard Spuns running over fences in the US right now.
