Did he fail as a racehorse? Yeah, because he was purchased for a huge sum (though I think Coolmore already owned a share in him) to be a star racehorse. Did he fail as a stallion? I dont really think so. I would be surprised if Hartley/DeRenzo paid over $100,000 for him once he retired.
