I had a feeling we were gonna have a Beholder/Songbird type edition this year, and I was right, only no sophomores were involved.

I'm soooooooo rooting for my boy Chuck (if he wins that you will hear a thud all to America, cause I've fallen out my chair hahahaha). Maybe Richie too!

I usually love to see a longshot/dismissed horse defy the odds, but I have gotten off the Rich Strike fanwagon.
Between the horse's and rider's on-track behaviors, and the owner's sour (and imagined) complaint about Hot Rod's shoes, I'm not rooting for 'Richie.'

Secret Oath ran very well I thought. Lukas is probably correct that she'll make a better older horse.

I'm just on Team Chaos. Give me a Rich Strike - Olympiad - HRC trifecta in whatever order.

Looks like domestic spending might have suffered a pelvic injury

After Baaeed disappointed at Ascot, it’s nice to see Sheikha Hissa end the year with a big win.

If she is sold, it's possible whoever buys her will keep her in training and with Lukas.

All in all, she's had a good year. Disappointing in the latter half, but it's not like she didn't run a step in those races. She still hit the board.

I swear, every O'Brien horse looks like they are cross-entered in a local dressage competition.

Okay, I'm bored with these Appleby winners.
