Golden Pal has now had two very slow/inattentive breaks from the gate with Irad aboard...in his two most important races. If GP weren't being retired, I wonder if he would be getting a new jockey?

My super spicy ultra mega flaming hot take is that Flightline shouldn't win HOY regardless with just 3 races in a season (giving weight in none of them, I might add) but if LiG wins the Classic over him it shouldn't even be a question. Or as mentioned, Jackie's Warrior should he win the Sprint.
