Does Cave Rock need the lead that bad that he had to go guns blazing against Hurricane J? Seemed like a silly move. Anywho, congrats to Pletcher and Repole!

The connections of Hurricane J deserve a fruit basket for not just conceding the race early, but Cave Rock just couldn't settle off the cheap speed (jockey probably kept him that wide to try and get him to back off), and he was clearly tired late. There's such a big difference between the honor guard trip vs. real races, especially going two turns.

Forte is good, though. I'm so happy for him. Very weird horse, so light and flighty he's like a deer, but I think he has a bright future. With that pedigree- Violence over Blame- and this performance, he's likely to have no issues stretching out.

I hope that he (Forte) is a lot more sound than his sire so he can make it to the Triple Crown *knocks on wood*

Victoria Road looks gorgeous as well, though I suppose that shouldn't be too much of a surprise for Aiden's horses!

It would be nice to see Saxon Warrior do well as a sire. Seeing the Deep Impact over Galileo is cool.

Victoria Road is pretty closely related to Auguste Rodin. So its pretty cool to see them both doing well. Hopefully will help put Deep Impact as a stallion into Europe.

That move by Silver Knott on the rail. Holy crap. I thought he was going to run over a horse.

Alright....Victoria Road (Saxon Warrior) gets his nose in front of Silver Knott. :D
I wonder if Buick would like a do-over on his ride. :?

Hope that was Victoria Road- again, Aiden running to his looks!- but boy that stretch drive was heartstopping. Thought Silver Knott was going to go over the rail at one point, but Victoria Road just had a bit more late.

I just saw that Lost Ark (1/2 brother to Nest) was vanned off after the BC Juvenile. Anybody know if he's okay

Chart says "was never involved, eased in stretch and walked off". Where did you see he was vanned?

I must have misread walked off as I glanced at it quick and saw the blank number before lengths in the email. Glad that someone can read that isn't me!

Wonder how the track will play tomorrow.

Frontrunners seemed to be the ticket for the first half of the day, and then it kind of flipped.
