I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

would love to see the Songbird baby win this 2nd race.

good luck to everyone with your picks.

mostly wishing that all horses and humans come home safe today!

That view of Keeneland is perfect...and unobstructed by FanDrool's obnoxious banner covering a quarter of our tv screens. I suspect Breeders' Cup corporate told FanDrool corporate to get rid of it...or else. :P

RE: the scratches that are coming in.......

I'd like to think that they are all "trainer scratches" but I have a hunch some may be "vet scratches" by a HISA designee?

Curious if there are any upset trainers being quoted, TIA.

Good duel between two nice 2yos in the 4th, Giant Mischief (Into Mischief) over Arabian Lion (Justify), with them finishing far in front of the rest of the field.

..why did USA/NBC show the FKA Marathon at a minute delay? Hopefully they won't do that for the real BC races.

Next (Not This Time) went to the front and improved his position in the stretch to win the 1 5/8-mile "Marathon." The first three horses never changed position.
Would you say that speed is working on this track...or what?

Is this being streamed anywhere?

I really should invest in a streaming platform but I can't decide which one. NBC is the most nostalgic for me but I don't care for any other sport and would rather have 90% racing.

I suspect that the NBC channels will have more of a delay than TVG.
If I can deal with Super Shrill Schiller Schrup on the FanDrool feed, I may stay with TVG over NBC.

Undercard races, not sure how many though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVweBZDGCmc

or use your (or a family member or acquaintance's) cable login info to get the NBC Sports stream at nbcsports.com

USA Network seems to be working just fine.

FACT CHECK: Georgia does have a Thoroughbred track, for jumpers, at Pine Mtn/Calloway Gardens, and they are literally having their annual race meet tomorrow.
