Pretty interesting that Rattle N Roll has been entered in the unofficial Breeders' Cup Marathon instead of the Dirt Mile.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Happy Saver, the horse who has come closer to Flightline than any horse has at the finish line, did not train Wednesday morning due to a quarter crack in his left hind foot, trainer Todd Pletcher said.
Pletcher is hopeful that Happy Saver could still make Saturday’s $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic at Keeneland.
“I think we’ll be fine,” Pletcher said. “We just need to stitch it up before we do anything.”

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Too bad. I would not run him- wait for Clark or is he retiring after this race?stark wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 6:16 pm LEXINGTON, Ky. – Happy Saver, the horse who has come closer to Flightline than any horse has at the finish line, did not train Wednesday morning due to a quarter crack in his left hind foot, trainer Todd Pletcher said.

On the Breakfast at Breeder cup show this morning they demonstrated what a quarter crack is and what it looks like: for someone like me who really has never been around horses, it was very educational. I would not run that horse in the BC.Squeaky wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 6:19 pmToo bad. Question about the Classic.....
I'm fairly confident that Life Is Good, at attractive odds, will have the lead turning into the homestretch.
How many horses will Irad be allowed to ride to the wire?
(speed is a dangerous thing, pace makes the race etc.)

We could also have a contest to guess how many times Irad herds or cuts off another horse. Bonus points for almost putting one over the rail.

"G Laurie will scratch from @BreedersCup juvenile Fillies Turf after spiking a temperature this afternoon. We are extremely disappointed for our stable and her connections."
