Also 100k as a first year fee for life is good? Yowsers. I know he's won the breeders cup and the pegasus and some other grade 1s. And I know he's talented. But the fee still seems astronomically overpriced for his first year at stud. Arrogate won the Travers, classic, pegasus and Dubai world cup and even he only stood for 75k his first season. I don't recall another pegasus winner having a first year fee as expensive life is goods

Saturday I saw a commercial for Life is Good about 2023 that had a guy named Oscar in it.

Country Grammar was not listed on Winstars roster because he is in fact returning to run in 2023. The goal is for him to sit out the classic, take a month off and then return to training with his target races being the Saudi Cup and the Dubai world cup

I'd not been able to find him until I read that article the other day.

I know! He just evidently didn't have the numbers to stay in Europe or Australia. I think Mayson (maybe?) was sold to stand in the Middle East and then was brought back. Maybe that will happen.Retrospectiv wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 6:56 pmHe was such a handsome devil and Arrowfield promoted him big time when he retired.Mylute wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 3:04 pm Scissor Kick, the sire of Everest winner Giga Kick, was sold to stand in Morocco last year.
