Connections of Torquator Tasso have decided to retire him.

He will stand at stud in Germany.

Vadeni will remain in training as a 4year old with another crack at the Arc the main target.

Bummed about TT because I had heard rumors he might go for the Japan Cup before retirement.

Is Alpinista retired?

Kirsten Rousing will make the final decision, but she may go for the Breeders Cup or Japan Cup.

Thanks. She has nothing to prove, obviously, but it would be fun to see her try for either.

Chaldean wins the Dewhurst for Andrew Balding, Frankie Dettori, and Juddmonte. A rare auction purchase by Juddmonte, who bought him for 550,000gns at Tattersalls as a foal from Whitsbury Manor Stud. He’s by Frankel, of course, who on track to potentially be even better than Galileo at this rate.

Yet here he is listed to ride in the Coolmore Mile at Keeneland today.
Strange decision as regards trainer integrity.

Pherenikos finished 3rd was always prominent ridden 2 out to mount a challenge but weakened close home and was caught close home for 2nd.

Well, Saturday is British Champions day, with the final race of Baaeed and potentially the last race for Verry Elleegant.

How much will Baaeed win by, or who would you like to upset? I am a fan of My Prospero.

Hopefully she proves me wrong, but I don't have a lot of faith in Verry Elleegant here and I hate that her Euro tour went so poorly.

Bit of an upset in the Everest, as Nature Strip runs 4th behind the 3yo winner, Gigakick.

Coltrane has to be the sentimental choice in the Long Distance Cup at Ascot.

Hollie Doyle picked up a 5 day ban for her ride on Trueshan.

Causing interference to Coltrane and Elder Eldarov on the first bend and interfered with Waterville in the Home straight.

Bay Bridge wins the Champion Stakes, Adayar 2nd, My Prospero 3rd. Baaeed a listless 4th. Im sure they’ll blame the ground. He also was farther back than usual and by the time he had clear running his wheels were spinning
