The English one always changes channel, so you have to check all three sometimes.

Have to hand it to him - pretty impressive 8 starts on this 2yr old already.

After suggesting Blackbeard had raced for the last time at age 2 following the colt’s Saturday win in the Group 1 Middle Park at Newmarket in England, connections changed course Sunday, saying that a trip to the Breeders’ Cup in November now is likely.
Blackbeard already has raced nine times in 2022 but looked as good as ever adding the six-furlong Middle Park to his victory in the Group 1 Prix Morny, another six-furlong dash. Trainer Aidan O’Brien said after the Middle Park that Blackbeard likely was a five- or six-furlong horse, which would make the BC Juvenile Turf Sprint a more appealing option than the 1 1/16-mile Juvenile Turf.
This horse should have started on turf to begin with. Beautiful animal, too.Mylute wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 5:06 pm Rebel's Romance defeated Sammarco to win the 60th Preis von Europa (G1).

With Kemari out with a setback, it looks like Rebel's Romance is Godolphin's leading hope for the BC turf this year. He's been a revelation lately, though he hasn't had much action on a tight turning track... unless you count the dirt at Meydan.Mylute wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 5:06 pm Rebel's Romance defeated Sammarco to win the 60th Preis von Europa (G1).

That makes me VERY happy! I was getting indigestion every time I saw his next possible start mentioned, worrying that it was going to be one start too many......
I am glad he is retired though I will miss seeing his beautiful face and turn of foot on the track!!!!MissNMecke wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 7:47 amThat makes me VERY happy! We'll just have to hope that in a few years his stripey-faced babies will be showing their own fleet feet.barbaro111 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 8:05 amI am glad he is retired though I will miss seeing his beautiful face and turn of foot on the track!!!!MissNMecke wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 7:47 amThat makes me VERY happy!
