It was just an awful day. GW's loss was completely avoidable. To this day, I still don't understand why Coolmore ran him. Well, other than greed.

Still think he doesn't need to keep his cojones - his pedigree's a dime a dozen, he's only got a maiden win - but I'm glad to hear he's found a spot for life. He's not even listed on the Mill Creek website though so it's no wonder he's not getting mares.

People suggested reaching out to Old Friends but the OP said "they want to try something different first". Really hope the old guy gets a soft landing, not many people will take a 20 yr old stallion

His last three races were very poor efforts, there may be no obvious injuries (that have been announced) but the horse clearly has lost his spark. If connections dont think he has a chance in the Breeder’s Cup (which I really dont think he does), I suppose why bother keeping him in training to potentially throw in another clunker of an effort on the international stage.
