Cookie finished 7th today. The field was quite tough, he wasn't really a threat.

hi guys,

as some of you probably know, stelladaniella has a heart condition. she underwent a transplant a while ago and was mostly doing fine, but she sadly fell into a coma a few days ago. she's being kept alive by machines now but there's some hope she'll wake up and breathe on her own again. her mom gave me the ok to post about it on the forum and i chose this topic as it's the one she's most active in. we have a friend over where she lives and she'll keep me updated and i'll bring information when i can.

Oh no, I didn’t know that....if wishes mean anything, Stella will wake up and start thriving...

good news as she's starting to breathe on her own. doctors hoping to get her off the machines soon. her mom said thanks for the support <3

Cookies workouts has been looking pretty sharp recently;
9/3/22 4F on the Dirt in 50.10 9/35
9/10/22 4F on the Dirt in 49.80 25/50
9/24/22 4F on the Dirt in 51.20 14/22
10/1/22 5F on the Dirt in 1.00.80 4/17
10/8/22 4F on the Dirt in 48.40 1/19
10/14/22 4F on the Dirt in 51.40 15/22

His 2nd start was a MSW on 10/19/22 at Horseshoe Indianapolis going one mile on the dirt. He had Marcelino Pedroza Jr. up and finished 5th, had no late bid.
I still have so much hope for this guy!!

Thank you both, you are lovely <3 I suffer with heart problems at a young age and the journey is anything but easy and full of surprises. I'm glad Nana could deliver news through my mother!! Horse racing as a hobby and interest makes it a bit less sucky though, and people like these on the forum <3

He went 4f on the dirt in 50.60 and ranked 8/15

Cookie worked on 12/2/22 on All Weather Track at Turfway, going 4f in 48.60 ranking 6/26
And on 12/9/22 he worked 4f on the AWT at Turfway, going 4f in 49.20 ranking 18/38

12/16 Cookie worked on the All Weather Track at Turfway, going 4f in 48.80 ranking 11/29.
12/22 Cookie worked on the All Weather Track at Turfway, going 4F in 48.40 ranking 9/88.

He is entered in a maiden claiming on 12/30/22 where he will go 1 mile on the AWT. It will be his first race since he was gelded.
Weight, 122 Lbs. Claiming Price $15,000, For Each $2,500 To $10,000 1 lb

And he WON!!!

He broke from post 10 and stayed at the back of the pack, and started picking them off on the faraaway turn! the last turn he just took off!! I'm so immensely proud of this little guy, his ears pinned in the last strides just says everything!
