Authentic was a speedy Baffert who won the KYD and the BCC and from what i saw from his first book, it doesn't even come close. time will tell if this will pay off. he will have zero excuses.

I’m no fan of this horse, but he was incredibly talented, and his sire is highly successful. Breeders love horses who set the world on fire re: Beyers...this book is pretty ridiculous even so.

Serena’s Cat is still producing ? Wow. Some of these mares, like her, are fairly old, so I get wanting to inject some young speed into the bloodline

Add in the fact that Speightstown is 24, Charlatan's stud fee was not set to something outlandish, and you got a recipe for a new stud attracting a great book of mares.

If he doesn't do well at stud, it's not for lack of opportunity.

I also noticed that Swifty Farms in IN doesn't have reports in for any of their stallions, either. Granted, they stand more than Mill Ridge, but there's no real excuse for being this late.
