2 more running tonight one at Del Mar and the other at Saratoga.
I just checked the Entries for both Saratoga and Del Mar and I don't see any Mendelssohns in today's races. Are you talking about tomorrow's (Friday) races?

Freshman sire Redesdale gets his first winner at Funger Lakes, a colt named N Y Reisling.
Redesdale is a Speightstown o/o a full sister to Danehill. Injured after 4 races but a pedigree that gives him a chance at stud. Sales prices say he’s not dropping nags. Hope he turns into a nice regional boy.

City of Light gets his first 2 winners in less than 24 hours. Though Roja Ligera was thought to be his first winner, she was his first US winner, he had one the day before in Puerto Rico.

Roaring Lion Progeny Warrior Lion made a nice debut at Naas yesterday finishing 2nd to impressive winner Denmark trained by Aiden Obrien.
Warrior Lion was held up behind the leaders but was short of room 1 fur out while still travelling well having to be switched he ran on well but the winner had flown.

Hi Starine
Ive been looking up Stroll noticed he was very lightly raced just the 5 times.
Did he retire through injury ?
Also noticed Stroll sired Group 1 winner Wet Your Whistle who was just touched off by Glass Slippers in the Breeders Cup Sprint turf

Stroll raced more than that, his race record is (16)7-3-1 $795,071, G1SW. He was retired late in his 4yo year due to a suspensory ligament injury. He used to stand at Claiborne, then he went to Italy for the 2008 and 2009 breeding seasons, before he was brought back because of his early success at stud. His first year at stud he had 36 foals, 13 starters, 9 winners and 3 SWs. He returned to stand at Claiborne again and his mares bred really fluctuated during the next couple years.20hayes20 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 2:16 am Hi Starine

Yeah that is weird. I went and looked its not even just his Graded Stakes starts, or just the Graded Stakes he won or placed in, its just part of them.

Another winner for Mendelssohn as PINK HUE wins Race 6 on turf at Saratoga. Experienced traffic trouble but exploded when she saw daylight.

Wound Up (Mendelssohn x Banker's Buy [Distorted Humor]) broke on top and stayed there in the 2nd at Del Mar, a 5-furlong MSW for 2yo on the grass. Favored Storming Machine (Cloud Computing) broke more slowly and couldn't catch Wound Up, finishing 3rd. He is a big, handsome colt, and I think SM will improve with more ditsance.
