That's a bummer. It's still a really nice field but I don't think anyone is beating Baaeed.

Stradivarius ran a gallant second--- lost by a neck but I am heartbroken he didn't win!

awww it just stinks that Strad did not win - was rooting for him so much - very brave run by the old warrior though.... i am sorry he did not get this win - but tons of love, respect and admiration for him always!

When he burst through on the far side, I thought he had it. Unfortunately Kyprios had the straight, unobstructed run on the outside and got past Strad. :(
I loved watching Strad on the way to the post...when another runner came too close to him, Strad showed his alpha stallion mindset and kicked out at him. He is such a proud animal. <3

Dermot Weld introduced an exciting 2 year old filly last night at Galway Called Tahiyra owned by the Aga Khan.

She is a half sister to Tarnawa who won 3 group1s and was runner up in the Arc.

Winning by 5 and 1/2 lengths in impressive fashion making mincemeat out of the field.

Sky could be the limit with this filly

Baaeed is a superstar. Pedigree suggests he will have no difficulty stretching out.

Nassau Stakes winner Nashwa will go next for the Prix De L Opera and then the Breeders Cup Fillies And Mares Turf.

She will remain in training as a 4 year old
