Remember Royal Mo (Uncle Mo/Saint Ballado)?
He got his first winner in South Africa a few weeks ago with colt Royal Aussie (turf), and more recently had winner two with Mo Jive (dirt/sand).

Won G3 Robert B. Lewis, third G1 Santa Anita Derby. Fractured sesamoid prior to Preakness and it looked bad initially. But thankfully he recovered and entered stud in South Africa of all places! Best of luck to him.

Out of the stakes winner Emmy's Smile(JPN) by Agnes Tachyon(JPN), the 2yo colt is closely related to the 2022 UAE Derby winner Crown Pride(JPN).

It's way too early to assess a freshman sire at this point.
But it looks like Mind Your Biscuits(USA) got off to a good start.
Here below is the current ranking of the first season sires standing in Japan (JRA & NAR).

Miracle (Mendelssohn x Good Omen [Smart Strike]) just won the 6th at Saratoga, a 6-furlong MSW on the dirt for 2yo state bred (not very "state bred" with sires like Accelerate, Bolt d'Oro, Liam's Map, Malibu Moon & Practical Joke) fillies. Got to the front and then re-broke in the stretch to increase her winning margin. Nice race.

NY breds can be by any sire. The only restrictions are the mare has to return to New York within 90 days of her last cover and foal there.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 4:06 pm Miracle (Mendelssohn x Good Omen [Smart Strike]) just won the 6th at Saratoga, a 6-furlong MSW on the dirt for 2yo state bred (not very "state bred" with sires like Accelerate, Bolt d'Oro, Liam's Map, Malibu Moon & Practical Joke) fillies. I don't remember why he was unraced until July of his 3yo year. Cause he hasn't had many starters compared to the other Kentucky freshman sires, which are mostly in the 15-30 starter range.ThreeMustangs wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 7:04 pmStill pretty quiet on the City of Light front. With his sales numbers, expectations are pretty high.

McCraken's had two starters so far: one who won on debut, the second was placed on debut.
