There hasn't been a sire in recent times that we have given such a nice first book of mares like we're doing with Pneumatic, probably since Equalize (who entered stud in 1990). We are convinced we were very lucky to have gotten him. He is by Uncle Mo, an important race horse, sire and sire of sires, and out of a Tapit mare, which will give us an interesting outcross for our mares. (...) We will be giving him 20 of 30 of our best mares.

Pretty cool to see the Lost Code/Codex line is still out there though. Obscure pedigree on this stallion, never heard of his sire or broodmare sire and even some of his great grandsires are ????
