Yes won well Three Mustangs from El Bogedon and Modern Games.

Thought Al Hakeem who finished 4th was given a lot to do by Christian Demuro looks as if mile and half will suit better.

All In All i dont think Desert Crown will lose any sleep .

20hayes20: "The starter said he couldnt hear anything because a helicopter was flying above..."

A helicopter? Why? Was Epsom using a helicopter to film the race from above? Haven't the British ever heard of drones?
Between that and Epsom's stupendously stupid decision to set off noisy, smoky fireworks just as the horses reached the gate, could someone please go smack some sense into the course's decision makers? I've read that jockeys had their horses react badly at the Epsom gate because of those fireworks. Horrible timing, betraying what to me should be a hard, fast rule: DON'T do ANYTHING to harm the horses and their riders.

I thought he won impressively too; much the best. But time will tell if he is as good as Desert Crown.

Vadeni will not be going of a mile and a half Jean Claude Rouget has said he will take the Almanzor route and stick to a mile and a quarter .

Irish Champion Stakes is on the agenda.

No clash with Desert Crown or Emily Upjohn, unless they drop back in trip.

Charlie Appleby said Modern Games will likely go to America for the Belmont Derby or the Saratoga Derby.

Im in total agreement with you Baroque over here with have the worse starters for flat and national hunt racing in the world. Useless bunch of twits.

And whoever came up with the fireworks idea needs stuffing.

Only a bunch of morons could have thought it was safe and a good idea.

Stupid Absurd Daft And Bonkers.

Impressive Coronation Cup winner Hukum has fractured his hind leg and will miss the remainder of the season.

Whether Hukum returns to racing or not has yet to be discussed.

A decision will be made later in the year.

Shame he was a good winner

I'm sure he was at the NEH brilliant place and probably Ian Wright top guy in the world did the op.
He has a great pedigree and full brother to Baaeed.

Someone at Epsom was quoted as saying it was to celebrate The Queen's Royal Jubilee, but I'm pretty sure that if someone had asked her opinion, she would have also told them it was a horrible idea. She knows her horses, which whoever arranged the fireworks (and helicopter) does NOT.

Last years Epsom Derby winner Adayar will miss the Coral Eclipse at Sandown and head straight to the King George.

Christophe Soumillion will replace Theo Bachelot on Rosacea in the French Oaks.

Also Epsom 3rd Naswa looks set to go for the French Oaks as well she has been quoted 3/1 fav

Wesley Ward has said Irad Ortiz Jnr will ride all his horses at Royal Ascot next week.

He said he is the hottest rider in America.

Finally great to hear Oisin Murphy will join Sky Sports Racing for Royal Ascot week as a pundit.

Starting to get a bit concerned that Adayar has so far missed every engagement this year. He missed the Coronation Cup due to a cough, then Prince of Wales', then the Eclipse... King George could be an exciting race if Desert Crown shows up, though.

I was reading about a Stallion today called Bal A Bali, brazilian Bred triple crown winner, then went to the states to be trained by Richard Mandella.

He done all his racing on turf in Brazil and and the U S bar one on dirt

But what intrigues me ive come across one of his progeny trained in Ireland with Joseph Obrien

He is unraced 2 year old called Goa Gajah and only cost 2,000, he is entered to run at Fairyhouse on Friday.

Does anyone know if Bal A Bali has any others Across The Pond ?

He stands at Calumet and the owner likes to breed to his own drumbeat so I could see him breeding for Europe. The stallion is one of the last conduits of the Godolphin Arabian sireline.

I'm not ecstatic about Ortiz being named on Ward's horses. Has Irad ever ridden at Ascot, because that racecourse isn't not like anything here in the States. :?
I wonder why Wesley isn't using the more experienced John Velazquez, with whom he has had success in previous years? He's even used Dettori, although Frankie may be completely booked on European runners.

He has only ridden in GB once, the 2015 Nunthorpe Stakes(G1) on Acapulco, finished 2nd.
