This is my husband y'all... we adopted an OTTB this past autumn from Delaware Park. She raced 30-some times, but only won once. My husband watches her winning race replay every day. EVERY. DANG. DAY.

This seems like a good place to put this. Former Hong Kong champions Werther and Ping Hai Star are now Nannies to the weanlings at their birthplace Highden Park in New Zealand. Middle of winter here but they look sensational!

Living Legends, the Australian version of Old Friends, often load up a couple of retired champions and take them to a local racemeeting. Part advertising, partly to raise awareness of life after racing & mostly just to give the horses something different to do!
Here is 1999 Melbourne Cup winner Rogan Josh at Flemington last Saturday. Now getting quite elderly this will be his last trip to the races!

Thanks for those links, RugbyGirl. Below the photos of Werther and Ping Hai Star I was delighted to see a photo of Verry Elleegant in Chantilly. Cool.

multiple BT winner and '17 Belmont Stakes sixth place finisher Twisted Tom (Creative Cause — Tiffany Twister, by Thunder Gulch) attended his first show as an OTTB today.
he was claimed for $10k in early February this year by Richard E. Schosberg, who i believe claimed him with the intentions of retiring as he didn't work again after that race.
