That was an awful run from Torquator Tasso, even taking the long layoff and good ground into account.

Its happened again Lingfield has abandoned races on the round course. due to unsafe ground.

Only races on the straight course will be run.

The people (trainers, owners, jockeys, racegoers) who have lost money and opportunity are furious, and I don't blame them.

Hayes, I have read the RacingPost articles about these abandoned meetings, and I still don't understand what is happening. WHY is the turf so slippery (even when rated good-to-firm) that horses are slipping and even falling down on the bends? :?

Who do you like in the Oaks and Derby, Hayes? I think the Derby is pretty competitive this year while the Oaks is all about Emily Upjohn vs Nashwa.

I agree with you Three Mustangs i think Gosden will win the Oaks with one of his 2.

I was impressed with Emily Upjohn in her 2 races this year.

The Derby looks more open im gonna wait untill the final Decs come out on Thursday.

They Started Watering at the weekend but yesterday and today been heavy showers, going now described as Soft, Good To Soft in Places.

Didn't get to see Lockinge in person this year but one of the impressive ones I did see was Rakti and he was on his best behaviour that day and put is a cracking time that day
Thanks for sharing! Must be a thrill to see such nice horses run in person.
Yes I've been lucky enough to see some great horses - as you say its good to see in person as on the TV you can get a false picture. Also when they go to stud they change again - so always good to see them there

hello Starine

I would like to see Pyledriver win as small owners but I wouldnt discount Hukum.
As for the Oaks go for a bit of value in Tuesday - not that I bet. But Gosden fillies should win .
As for the Derby my trainer has a runner Grand Alliance so hope for Charlie sake he runs into a place even if 4th. He has been round Epsom so will handle the course - I just hope the going is Good as we are have 2 days of 22c . I would like to see Desert Crown win for Sir Michael Stoute but could see a shock in the race. Godolpin have supplemented Nation Pride so they must fancy but the other 2 runners have a chance especially Nahanni from the family of Cable Bay and Mukhadram.

What are your thoughts

Cornation Cup

I like High Definition if he stays.

Oaks Emily Upjohn but i coundnt back her at that price.

As for the Derby, which is more competitive , i fancy Changingoftheguard as he will stay.

Hi Ribot 90

I was at Newmarket today and saw some of Charlie Fellows string cantering up Warren Hill.

May i ask what horse you have with Charlie.

I have a share in a horse with George Boughey, and Stuart Williams.

Hello Hayes

So Charlie trained a filly I bred but didnt run unfortuately she was by Sea The Moon - I have a beautiful Cable Bay filly out of her now and told Charlie earlier this year he will have her in 2023. The Sea The Moon dam was a home bred by Dansili _ she was trained by Henry Cecil and was a winner but with Henry passing - was lucky enough to find Charlie who reminds me of my first trainer and friend Alex Scott. Stuart was at Alex's yard = George Boughey having a great season .. Ribot

well done MissNMecke picking Hukum

He destroyed the field, looked as if he's won by 5 or 6 lengths, nice for trainer Owen Burrows who had 150 horses in his stable last year, but Shadwell cut down due to the death of Sheik Mo he only has around 40 now
