Your "friend" is a bad person and employee for sharing information about client horses. If the horse's owners wanted the information shared they would have done it.
The people there treated them like absolute dog crap so
What is wrong with you? There is nothing to LOL about here. A horse died - do you think that's funny?

Maybe your oh-so-concerned friend should've contacted the authorities if the horse wasn't being cared for.

Yep. I call BS on this supposed "friend" at Rood & Riddle even existing because "friend" would have to be dumber than a box of rocks to release confidential information. This person is just a troll who is having some sick fun over a horse's death.

Does anyone else remember the even sicker people who posted "Barbaro is Dead!" every now and then on racing forums back in the day? (Before the horse actually died, I mean.)

"Does anyone else remember the even sicker people who posted "Barbaro is Dead!"...."

 Really? Ick.
I didn't experience that on the old TVG Forum, so maybe I was a little lucky to be late to this forum.

I think it happened more on general sports forums like ESPN, but it definitely happened.

RacingPost has filled half its opening page with homages to Lester Piggot, with interviews, memorable stories and photographs in over a dozen articles.
Truly the end of an era.
