October 2020. His fertility had dropped off, according to the Jockey Club Breeding Stats he bred 38 mares in 2020, they received reports for 30 of those mares and he only sired 8 foals. Of course there could be a few more that the breeders were late registering.

Zarkallani (FR) (Invincible Spirit x Zarkava) is entered in the...first race at Radnor on Saturday, a maiden hurdle Jack Fisher trained, of course.

Zarkallani lost her rider, left the course no worse for wear.

Also in the race was Tom (Maclean's Music x Quick Temper, full brother to 2017 Preakness winner Cloud Computing) who tired and was pulled up. Hot weather steeplechasing is rough, there's a reason the jumpers go north to New York in the summer.

Noticed that this Tahoma is out of a Rahy mare. It seems to me that there's not too many 2yos now that we're going to see with Rahy as a grandsire or broodmare sire. I did a little PQ research, as unreliable as that can be, and saw that Tahoma's dam, Madera Dancer, was a member of Rahy's final crop, which was foaled in 2009, the year that he was pensioned.

I loved Rahy as a sire, and it was a kick for me to see his name here as granddad to this very nice looking colt by a Trip!e Crown winner. We'll see what happens!!

with the way racing is lately, hype is exactly what we need, glad the race was a good one for you!
and actually with this breeding on a first time starter-first time winner, i could get pretty excited abt his future, too.

Caravaggio has a G1 winner in his first crop: Tenebrism won the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket. She is out of MG1W Immortal Verse.

ETA: Tenebrism was Caravaggio’s first winner back in March and this was her first start since then.

The Justify filly Statuette, a 3/4 sister to Tenebrism, won her debut at Navan nicely today.
